TGIF takes on a new meaning today for bodybuilding fans and fitness diehards because it signifies Day 1 of the 2023 Olympia World Fitness Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
We’re live in the trenches covering the event, and seriously, it’s bigger and better than ever this year!
On the main stage we’re watching pre-judging for the Fitness Olympia, 212 Olympia, Figure Olympia, Women’s Physique Olympia, Ms. Olympia, and Wellness Olympia – all of it hosted by the voice of bodybuilding Bob Cicherillo. In fact, the former Mr. USA and IFBB pro is emceeing the Olympia for the 20th consecutive year this weekend. It’s been a great run for “Chick”, with many more years to come.
We’ll be covering the finals for all of the aforementioned competitons later tonight, so come back to muscleandfitness.com for those reports in the coming hours.
Of course, there’s also a sea of exhibitor booths here at the expo. At the M&F booth, Chief Content Editor Zack Zeigler along with fitness celebs and cover models Frank Zepe and Don Saladino are hanging out and shooting content. Their counterpart, the lovely Maria Moda, is here as well. They’ll be joined on the M&F podcast by exercise and supplement scientist Dr. Dwayne Jackson, so keep an eye out for that content posting soon.
Across the expo floor, there are also powerlifting and strongman competitions taking place, not to mention booths from the biggest brand names in sports nutrition – including Allmax, Mutant, and many others.
