Brenda Farias is the Champion of the 2023 Musclecontest Campinas Pro. The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro League member won the contest that took place on Saturday, Mar. 18, 2023, in Campinas, Brazil.

Here’s an overview of the top 10 finishers at the 2023 Musclecontest Campinas Pro. The Bikini division was the only set of professional competitors who were featured.

2023 Musclecontest Campinas Results

  1. Brenda Farias — First place
  2. Gessica Brun
  3. Mirian Barbosa
  4. Anna Paula Baggio
  5. Priscila Rodrigues
  6. Luciana de Souza Santos
  7. Mariana Tibiriçá Menezes
  8. Tais Silva
  9. Greice Fornazin
  10. Silvana Tagliati

With the win, Farias earns her first-ever qualification to the prestigious 2023 Olympia. That competition is currently scheduled for Nov. 3-5, 2023, in Orlando, FL.

More from Breaking Muscle:

Should Farias choose to compete at the 2023 Olympia, she will have no shortage of competitors to overcome in her debut. After winning her first Bikini Olympia title in mid-December 2022, Maureen Blanquisco is the defending champion. It might be fair to expect former winners and active titans like Jennifer Dorie (2021) and Ashley Kaltwasser (2013-2015) to vie for the title again. Blanquisco took home $50,000 for her winning efforts while, comparatively, fifth-place finisher Lauralie Chapados won $6,000.

These potential developments mean that even finishing amongst the top five athletes could be considered an enormous accomplishment for Farias.

Farias’ victory complicates matters for other competitors at the 2023 Musclecontest Campinas Pro. The respective second and third-place finishers, Gessica Brun and Mirian Barbosa, will now have to earn qualification for the 2023 Olympia by other competitive means. After the IFBB nixed its previous points-based system, only past winners and contest victors in 2023 will have a berth in every division at the 2023 Olympia.

More from Breaking Muscle:

Such is life on the rigors of a very competitive bodybuilding trail. Athletes like Farias have a shining moment in their career, while others must quickly regroup for a future contest.
